What this directory is

Ontario Plastic Surgery Directory is an independent directory and comparison resource covering 200 plastic surgeon businesses across Ontario. We built it for people trying to compare board-certified plastic surgeons and cosmetic surgery clinics before they ever pick up the phone, whether they’re looking into breast augmentation, facial procedures, body contouring, injectables, or reconstructive surgery in Toronto, Ottawa, Mississauga, Hamilton, Brampton, or anywhere else in the province.

We also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for that introduction. That referral relationship is disclosed on the quote page, and it never touches how a clinic scores or ranks here. Sponsorship and lead-matching pay for keeping this directory running, but they sit apart from the editorial side of the site.

Where the listing data comes from

Every profile starts from public business information: practice details, service areas, procedures offered, and similar facts that are publicly verifiable. We then synthesize patterns from recent Google reviews to describe general sentiment, things like how patients talk about consultations, follow-up care, or wait times. We do not republish review text. If you want to read the original reviews, we link out to Google so you can see them directly at the source.

How rankings are earned

Rankings come from a published rubric applied to the data we collect, nothing else. There’s no pay-to-rank option, and no clinic can buy its way up the list. If you want the full scoring breakdown, it’s laid out on our /methodology/ page.

A listed business can request corrections to its own factual details (address, hours, procedures offered, that kind of thing), and we welcome those corrections because accurate listings serve everyone better. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position in the rankings. Those come from the rubric and the data, applied the same way to every listing.

Sponsorship, clearly separated

Some pages include sponsored placements. These are always labeled “Sponsored,” displayed in their own section separate from the earned rankings, and they carry zero weight in how a clinic scores or where it lands on a ranked list. If you see a sponsored listing and a ranked listing on the same page, they got there through completely different processes.

Who keeps it current

Elena Moreau, our Editorial Lead, oversees the rubric and how it gets applied across all 200 listings. Data refreshes monthly, and each listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see exactly when we last checked it rather than guessing whether a profile is stale.
